Accelerating Transformation under the New Management Structure to Become a "Management Partner for Our Customers"

For over half a century, Nikko has supported Japan's infrastructure by providing plants for asphalt mixtures and ready-mixed concrete. However, the factories that support this infrastructure are now facing serious challenges, such as declining demand, labor shortages, and an aging workforce. In response to these circumstances, we are driving a business transformation. We aim to transcend the traditional boundaries of a "manufacturer" and become a "management partner for our customers," which includes providing comprehensive support for their plant operations.

The most critical element in driving this business transformation is the "ability to adapt to change." We must not be bound by conventional methods; instead, we must pursue business models and organizational structures that are truly suited to the current era.

Although Nikko boasts a history of over 100 years, we cannot simply rest on our past achievements. We are required to constantly ask ourselves how we must evolve for the next century. As the needs of society and our customers undergo significant changes, I aim to build a self-driven organization. I envision an organization where we continuously ask ourselves how to best leverage Nikko's technology and expertise to contribute to society, and then swiftly translate those answers into action.

To realize this vision, the strength of every single employee is indispensable. My most important role is to create an environment where all employees share a strong desire to "make Nikko even better" and feel empowered to continuously take on new challenges.

As a corporate leader, I am acutely aware of my responsibility to pave the way for our company's future. While continuing to cherish our traditions, I am committed to working alongside all our stakeholders to build a Nikko Group that anticipates the changing times and embraces new challenges with flexibility and boldness.
